Sri Lankan Travel, Inc. (SLT) was incorporated in 1999 for the purpose of representing Airlines in the territory of the United States of America and Canada.

In October 1999 the company bid successfully for the General Sales Agency (Passenger) of SriLankan Airlines in the USA and in 2005 for the General Sales Agency (Passenger) in Canada and have been their GSA since then. Sri Lankan Travel, Inc. is also the General Sales Agency for SriLankan Airlines Cargo in the USA and Canada.

Sri Lankan Travel, Inc. was initially headquartered at the World Trade Center in New York, with a branch office in Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, and in Canada at 170 Sheppard Avenue East, Suite 301, North York, Ontario M2N 3A4. Destruction to the WTC in New York in 2001 resulted in the re-location of the Corporate Headquarters of Sri Lankan Travel, Inc. to 111 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, New Jersey and later in December 2008 to a state-of-the-art office in New Jersey`s prestigious Alfieri building located at 379 Thornall Street, Edison, New Jersey 08837.

SLT launched a very successful campaign in April 2000 to market SriLankan Airlines nationwide. Since then, the operation has grown in such strength to an extent our Principal, SriLankan Airlines considers the USA an on-line station for marketing purposes even though it is not so operationally. Sri Lankan Travel, Inc. has a Call Center in Colombo, Sri Lanka known as North American Aviation Group Inc. and it is here that majority of the airline ticketing & reservations, customer service, dealing with passenger inquiries/advice on air fares, replying to online fare quotation requests, ticket refunds etc. take place.

We promote “SriLankan Airlines and Sri Lanka as a destination” in the US and Canada via sales calls and tour packages to Sri Lanka. In addition, North American Aviation Group Inc. provides back office operations for Sri Lankan Travel, Inc. by providing administration, handling of monthly accounts, finances, and human resources of the company.

The company is managed by a team of professionals in the Transportation Sphere, specializing in Airline Marketing and effective GSA Management with over 50 years of collective Airline Marketing experience and are instrumental in positioning Sri Lankan Travel, Inc. as a very professionally run Airline GSA.
