A Company incorporated
for the purpose of representing Airlines in the territory
of
the USA, and being the Marketing & Sales arm of such airlines.
Incorporated in October of 1999, the Company bid successfully
for the General Sales Agency of SriLankan Airlines in the U.S.A.
Headquartered in the World Trade Center in New York, with
a
branch office on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, Sri Lankan
Travels (SLT) launched a very successful campaign in April
2000 to Market SriLankan
Airlines nationwide. Since then, the operation has grown in
such strength to an extent our Principals, SriLankan
Airlines considers
the
USA an on-line station for Marketing purposes even though they
are not operationally. |

Destruction
to the WTC in New York and the resultant re-location of
the
Corporate Headquarters of SLT to New Jersey has strengthened
our resolve to succeed. The new more spacious office at
111,
Wood Avenue South, Iselin, New Jersey, has created the ideal
environment for our team to build on the good work done
for
the past 3 years. |

Company Team, supported by all state of the art communication
facilities are now in a position to effectively distribute
nationwide in the U.S.A any Airline / Travel related product,

gladly invest in resources to support future expansion and

is managed by a Professional in the Transportation Sphere,
specializing
in Airline Marketing and effective GSA Management. The C.E.O
has over 25 years in aviation marketing, and has held
very
senior managerial positions in Airlines as well as General
Sales Agencies in the past.The rest of the team members also
do possess
about 40 years of collective Airline Marketing experience have
been instrumental in positioning SLT as a very professionally
run Airline Agency in a relatively short period of time |

on a dedicated basis, to the extent that the customer feels
that he/she is dealing with the airline direct. For the
airline,
the advantage would be the confidence that the representative
body is able to effectively market its product, without
burdening
the Principal. More importantly the inroads made during the
past 3 years has given the team a very good insight into
the
Distribution
Patterns, Market Behavior, Customer Needs etc in relation to
the Air Travel industry in the U.S.A. |
